WHY I'M RUNNING

Why I'm Running

Justin is running for Alderman in Ward 5 because he believes strong communities start with strong, responsive representation. After moving to Nashua with his husband, the city quickly became their home. Nashua is a place where they feel welcome, connected, and motivated to get involved. Now, Justin is ready to give back by serving the people and neighborhoods that warmly embraced his family.

His campaign is about more than just one ward; it’s about helping Nashua grow in a way that reflects shared values: thoughtful planning, balanced priorities, and a commitment to community well-being that creates a lasting city for future generations.

Justin will bring the same passion and problem-solving approach that has defined his career in higher education to his work in local government. With over twenty years of leadership experience, he has effectively managed large budgets, led diverse teams, secured and overseen grants, and developed systems that have helped thousands of people reach their goals. He has formed partnerships to remove barriers and implemented technology to improve access and accountability, all while maximizing every dollar in a field where budgets are often cut. His expertise directly translates into prioritizing city needs and ensuring resources reach those most in need while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

As someone who has spent his career supporting students and advocating for access and equity, Justin understands the importance of listening, uplifting others, and following through. He is dedicated to making sure every resident feels heard, every neighborhood stays connected, and that all city services, from schools to public safety, are prepared to serve Nashua’s growing and diverse community.

Whether someone lives here, works here, shops, or just passes through the state, Justin believes Nashua is a city worth investing in. And he’s ready to get to work.

CORE VALUES

Championing Smart, Community-Centered Growth

In his career, Justin has developed programs and written grants that address both immediate needs and long-term goals. He knows how to plan carefully, listen to those affected, and create systems that work for everyone. That’s the same approach he’ll take as Alderman to preserve the character of Ward 5 while guiding growth that benefits today’s residents and future generations alike.

Strengthening Access to City Services and Public Resources

Throughout his career, Justin has assisted thousands of people in navigating complex systems and accessing needed resources. Whether through counseling, grant-funded programs, or outreach efforts, he knows how to clarify communication, eliminate barriers, and build stronger connections. As Alderman, Justin will do the same for Ward 5 and all of Nashua to ensure easy access to city services and that no one is left behind.

Building Transparent, Responsive Local Government

Justin has led teams, managed grants and budgets, and shown up for those who depend on him. This work has taught him to be visible, accountable, and community-focused; all qualities he’ll bring as Alderman. Ward 5 needs a representative who doesn’t just make promises but builds trust through action, and Justin is committed to being that leader and champion.
